Senior Vice President - Sales

As a new product introduction specialist and key account developer, Tom began his career in the security industry with Kastle Systems of Arlington, Va. Kastle Systems is the industry pioneer in design, marketing and remote-management of building access administration systems to facility operators and owners. Kastle Systems' North American business model since 1973 continues as the most recognized benchmark for remotely managed integrated access control / intrusion.

Accepting the position of Director, Commercial Systems Dealer Programs, Sales & Marketing in the early-1990s for Honeywell International-Ademco Security products, he introduced PassPointR access control / intrusion integration platform to the small-mid dealer market. Working at the leading edge of the product's rollout, the effort resulted in one of Honeywell's most successful security product releases to that date.

Industry visibility and success resulted in Tom's recruitment by General Electric Co. (GE Security / Interlogix) to market & sell mid-tier GE Access Control products and later was chosen by GE Security for leadership of the new product introduction of GE AllianceR Access / Intrusion Integration system in the Americas.

In 2004, he joined HID Global as Director of North America Market Development for the VertXR CS Access platform. Responsible for sales and marketing in North America, he led the rollout of the industry's first Linux-based IP network controller through development of channel applications, and management of various controlling software developers' features and benefits.

Tom served as Vice Chairman-Membership for the Central Station Alarm Association from 2005 to 2007 and holds Six Sigma Green Belt DMAIC Certification, XEROX PSS I & II, Dale Carnegie Institute and BICSI Telecommunications Association Network Design Certifications. He attended San Francisco State University majoring in Economics and the University of Michigan School of Executive Education, and remains an active member of the American Society for Industrial Security.
